What is Axyoma?
Axyoma is an open platform for working with AI agents across hundreds of models in a single application. It runs as a desktop app, next to your editor and your terminal.
Do I need to set up an API key?
No. You can start right away with the credits included. If you prefer, you can also connect your own OpenRouter or OpenAI key.
Can I use my own API key?
Yes, from OpenRouter or OpenAI. Under Settings → Models you paste the key and pick which models to use with it. Anything running through that key is billed by the provider, directly to you, and consumes no Axyoma credits. Anthropic with your own key is on the way.
Where is my API key stored?
On your machine, encrypted, alongside the app's other credentials. It is never written to our servers: it travels encrypted on each request, is used in memory to talk to the provider and is discarded right after — it never lands in a log, a database or a backup. To remove it, clear the field under Settings → Models; it disappears from your computer and no copy exists anywhere else.
Can I run models on my own machine?
Yes, at no cost. Axyoma talks to Ollama: install it from the app itself, download whichever model you want from the library and it shows up in the picker like any other. It runs offline, never touches our servers and spends no credits. The app warns you when a model does not fit in your machine's memory.
Can I choose which model is used?
Yes. Pick the right model for each task by hand, or switch between providers based on cost, speed or quality — Gemini, Claude, GPT, Grok, Llama, DeepSeek, Kimi, Qwen, Mistral and more.
Does the agent run actions automatically?
You set the level of autonomy. Whenever it matters, Axyoma asks for your approval before running an important action.
How does billing work?
You can use Axyoma credits, buy extra credits or use your own API key. The cost of each run is shown transparently. One credit costs R$ 0.30 and you pay via Pix — by QR code, copy-and-paste or straight from your bank through Open Finance. Bonus and allowance credits are valid for Vertex AI models; purchased credits are valid for every model.
Which operating systems are supported?
Windows, macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Linux (AppImage). Updates are automatic on Windows; on macOS and Linux the app tells you when a new version is out.
